As a Java Developer you will design and develop for the core research platform which utilises Artificial Intelligence and Big Data to dramatically reduce the time new drugs spend in the first phase of testing. You'll be a core member of a collaborative Agile TDD team responsible for providing a scalable infrastructure to support and run the intelligent search technology; you'll spend your time investigating the best database servers, graph data structures, distributed computing and data repositories, deploying to local servers and the cloud. This role will suit a polyglot, comfortable using a range of languages and technologies, primarily Java and Python with a range of others including Neo4J, ElasticSearch, Ansible, Docker, AWS, Atlassian and NoSQL.
